Brentford and Aldershot have reached an agreement with Aldershot over Kirk Hudson's transfer fee.
The forward signed a two-year contract with the Bees at the end of June after his contract with Aldershot came to an end.
The Shots were entitled to compensation for Hudson as he is under the age of 24, but the clubs were initially unable to reach an agreement.
However, the matter has now been resolved and there will be no need for either club to attend a transfer tribunal hearing.
Brentford's chief executive Andrew Mills said in a statement on his club's official website: "I would like to thank Aldershot Town FC for their constructive approach to our discussions and I am extremely pleased that we have been able to reach an amicable agreement."
