Exeter have snapped up John O'Flynn on a free transfer following his departure from Barnet.
The Irish striker, who began his career at Peterborough, scored 15 goals in all competitions for the Bees last term but declined an offer to stay at Underhill.
A number of clubs were interested in securing O'Flynn's services and he recently spent time on trial at Bristol City.
The Robins eventually decided not to pursue a deal and the 28-year-old is now looking forward to starting a new chapter of his career at St James Park.
O'Flynn told Exeter's official website: "I am delighted to be here, it is a great club, and it is one that is held in very high regard.
"I have had some great feedback from those that have played here before.
"I am really looking forward to League One football, where I aim to play as many games as I can, and the goals will come."
