Brentford have secured the services of defender Leon Legge for a further two years.

The stopper pens the contact extension that will keep him at Griffin Park until 2012 after enjoying an impressive debut campaign with the Londoners.

Legge joined the Bees last August from non-league side Tonbridge Angels and went onto make 33 appearances for the League One outfit, scoring three goals.

The 24-year-old was handed a new deal in December that would keep him at the club until the end of the 2010/11 season, however manager Andy Scott was keen to tie the London-born stopper down with his side.

Legge was delighted to have agreed terms, telling the club's official website: "I'm really pleased to be able to sign this new contract and I can't wait to get cracking for next season."
