Commanding defender signs on

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade has made his fifth summer signing by snapping up defender Aaron Brown from Aldershot. The 26-year-old turned down the offer of a new contract with the Shots and has instead agreed a one-year deal at Brisbane Road. "Aaron is an imposing centre-half who I signed initially at Yeovil, where he broke into the team," said Slade. "He's a strong boy with a good attitude and with that comes an ambition to do well. I think this is the ideal platform for him here and I'm looking forward to working with him again." Slade has so far also brought in Terrell Forbes, Lee Butcher, Alex Revell and George Porter since the end of the season.
