Walsall winger Julian Gray is happy to put talks regarding his future at the Banks's Stadium on hold until the end of the season.

Gray joined the League One club in February on a short-term contract and has scored three goals in 12 appearances for the Saddlers.

He had spent two months at Barnsley earlier in the season and the 30-year-old is in no rush to resolve his long-term future.

"We'll have a look at it at the end of the season," Gray told the Express & Star.

"I'm just concentrating on the last six games. I had an opportunity to come here and play football and we'll see what happens after that.

"For me I'm playing catch up and I'm fit, but I need match fitness. I'm catching up to everyone and feeling a lot stronger."
