Huddersfield manager Lee Clark has offered new contracts to three first-year professionals.
Liam Ridehalgh, Leigh Franks and Jack Hunt have all been rewarded after graduating from the club's academy in the summer.
They have yet to make their first-team breakthroughs but Clark is excited about the potential of all three.
He told the club's official website: "They have progressed well and deserve an opportunity to make an impression on the first-team squad.
"But they have to be in there fighting for a place in the squad next season."
He added: "They have had their settling-in period and shown they can compete with first-team lads.
"Nothing would give me greater pleasure than the three of them being involved in the team."
Left-back Ridehalgh has been a regular for the reserves, central defender Franks has gained first-team experience at Fleetwood and right-sided midfielder Hunt spent two months on loan at Grays earlier this season.
Fellow first-year professional Lewis Nightingale has been released by the club.
