Alan Dunne has signed a contract extension to keep him at Millwall until the summer of 2012.
The long-serving defender's contract had been set to expire in the summer, but he has now been rewarded for another impressive season with a new deal.
Dunne, 27, is delighted to have committed his future to the Lions and hopes to help them win promotion.
"I'm really happy to have got this all sorted out," he told the club's official website.
"My contract was up at the end of the season, but I would have signed on a weekly basis if necessary - there was simply no other club I want to play for.
"I've been involved with this club for nearly 18 years now.
"We got to the play-off final last season, but we are all really desperate to go that step further and win promotion this year."
