MacDonald: Enjoying loan
Yeovil loan star Shaun MacDonald is hoping his displays for the Glovers will catch the eye of Swansea boss Paulo Sousa.
The Wales Under 21 captain is enjoying a third loan stint at Huish Park, with his chances at the Liberty Stadium looking limited.
The 21-year-old midfielder is out-of-contract in the summer and he admits he has some thinking to do about his future.
"Swansea is my home town club but it's difficult to say I definitely want to stay when I don't know what the club is thinking," MacDonald said.
"I know the gaffer, Mr Sousa, is busy concentrating on the squad he has and pushing for promotion, but you can't help feel that you are not in future plans if it's March and you still don't know where you stand.
"Hopefully, Swansea will let me know soon. Even then, I need to play first team football and the deal needs to be right.
"I don't want to sign a deal that simply sends me back out on loan again, I want to feel part of someone's immediate and long term plans so I can settle down.
"It is hard living out of a suitcase and if I settle down, my football will get even better."
MacDonald refused to rule out signing a permanent deal with Yeovil.
"I love the town, the club and the supporters. The manager is great too," he said.
"I know I am ready to play in the Championship but sometimes you have to be patient.
"That said, the sooner I play regularly in the Championship, the sooner I will be able to determine if I can make the step up to the promised land of the Premier League."
