Brentford defender Alan Bennett has admitted he does not know where his future lies after he joined Wycombe on loan last week.
The Irishman has linked up with Wycombe on an initial month-long deal after falling down the pecking order at Griffin Park.
Bennett's deal at Brentford does not end until the summer of 2011, but with just 16 appearances to his name this season a permanent switch could be on the cards.
He is not sure that will be the case and is focused only on performing as well as he can over the next few weeks.
"I haven't been told I have no future at Brentford and, as it stands, I will be going back after a month," Bennett told the Hounslow Chronicle.
"But even a week is a long time in football, so who knows.
"I just want to get back out onto the pitch and put in the kind of performances that I know I can."
