Winger on comeback trail after 10 weeks on the sidelines

Walsall winger Steve Jones has returned to action for the reserves after more than 10 weeks on the sidelines due to injury. Less than 24 hours after the club's memorable triumph at Leeds, Jones took to the field to make a 35-minute substitute appearance in the Saddlers' last-gasp 3-2 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. The wide man was in great form prior to sustaining a troublesome groin injury that has curtailed his season. And he looked in good shape as he threatened the Owls defence on more than one occasion. Assistant manager and reserve team boss Martin O'Connor told the club's official website: "It was a massive plus for the club to have Steve back in action."
