Exeter City have taken former Nottingham Forest duo Joe Heath and James Reid on a week-long trial.
Both youngsters were released by Forest last month and will spend the upcoming few days training with League One side Exeter.
Full-back Heath had a spell on loan at Lincoln City earlier this season, while Reid was released after making just one substitute's appearance for Forest.
The Grecians' director of football Steve Perryman told the club's official website: "We are looking forward to seeing them in training this week, but they are unavailable for tomorrow's Devon Bowl match at Ilfracombe.
"We will take a look at them this week, but it is important to remember that with trialists they are assessing the club as much as the club are assessing them."
