Brentford have extended the loan of Toumani Diagouraga until the end of the season after reaching an agreement with Peterborough.
The midfielder moved to Griffin Park last week on an initial one-month deal, but Posh have now allowed the 22-year-old to stay until May.
Diagouraga was a six-figure signing for Posh last summer and was a regular under former manager Darren Ferguson.
However, he has fallen behind recent signings Jake Livermore and Josh Simpson in the plans of current boss Mark Cooper.
Diagouraga made his debut for Brentford in last Saturday's defeat at League One leaders Norwich and was an unused substitute in Tuesday's home draw with Southampton.
