Craig Davies says he is happy to take in a loan at Port Vale, but is not currently contemplating a permanent move away from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 24-year-old striker joined the League Two outfit on a month-long loan from Brighton earlier this month, but insists he is not seeking a permanent move away from the Seagulls.
"Brighton just want me to go out and play games and we will see what happens from there," he told the club's official website.
"I have got 18 months left on my contract and that is still a long time - anything can happen.
"As long as I keep on working hard and my attitude is positive and I can show people that I am willing, that can only be good for me.
"There are certain things I am not that happy about with regards to my football, but at the same time, I am quite fit anyway.
"I just need to get that cutting edge fitness that will help me and my game. Over the next two games, that will come."
