The in-form 21-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the lower leagues and has attracted plenty of attention from further up the football pyramid.
Donnelly has shown an eye for goal this season in scoring nine goals from midfield, a return that has attracted a bid from Wycombe.
Chairboys boss Gary Waddock is well aware of Donnelly's capabilities having had the player under his tutelage during a successful stint of his own with the Shots.
The former QPR trainee's contract expires in the summer, when he could leave on a free transfer with only minimal training compensation to be paid for his services.
