Yeovil Town boss Terry Skiverton will make a decision on signing a player on loan when he has an update on Jean-Paul Kalala's fitness.
Skiverton wants to make a sixth loan signing before the transfer window closes but his squad has already been boosted by Kalala's progress from a knee injury.
"I know I spoke about getting a sixth loan signing in but that was only going to happen quickly if Jean-Paul Kalala's knee injury proved to be a long-term problem," Skiverton said.
"We've had it scanned and he should be back quick quickly, hopefully in time for next Saturday's game against Colchester.
"That means I can hold fire on another loan signing for a bit, but I would still like to bring in another player on a youth loan if I can."
