Midfielder to pursue other options

Port Vale midfielder Jason Jarrett has moved on from the club following the end of his three-month contract. Jarrett joined Vale in late September after being released by Brighton & Hove Albion and made 13 appearances during his time with the League Two club. The 30-year-old admitted earlier in the month that he was enjoying his time at Vale Park and was waiting to hold talks with manager Micky Adams about his future. However, following those discussions between the two parties, Vale have confirmed Jarrett has left the club in order to pursue other options. Adams told the club's official website. "I would like to thank Jason for his time with the club and to wish him well in his future career."
