League Two club not expecting keeper to stay

Lincoln City goalkeeper Rob Burch has been offered a new contract, but is not expected to stay at Sincil Bank. The former Tottenham and Sheffield Wednesday keeper's current deal expires in the summer and he has reportedly attracted the interest of a host of Premier League and Championship clubs. Imps vice-chairman Bob Dorrian confirmed a lucrative deal has been placed in front of Burch, but concedes the 25-year-old could even leave the club in January. Dorrian told the Lincolnshire Echo: "We have made him an excellent contract offer. "He has not officially rejected it, but we don't expect him to accept it. We would like him to stay, but Rob is very ambitious and is capable of playing at a higher level. "We haven't started discussing a valuation for him. Whether we accept an offer depends on a couple of things - the size of the offer and our league position. "Although we don't want to lose him for nothing in the summer, Rob could be a key player in helping us stay up. It's very much a balancing act."
