Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has blocked Ashley Grimes' proposed loan move to Crawley due to the injury situation at The Den.
Crawley manager Steve Evans was hoping to snap up Grimes ahead of the loan deadline, but Jackett has instead confirmed the forward will be involved in Saturday's FA Cup trip to Staines.
Jackett told the News Shopper: "It isn't going to happen because we need all the forwards we've got at the moment.
"Two of our senior forwards, Neil Harris and Gary Alexander, are out injured so we aren't in a position where we can release Ashley at the moment.
"He will be involved against Staines on Saturday."
