Swindon defender Kevin Amankwaah has denied reports that he taunted Millwall's Neil Harris over his cancer battle.
Harris and Amankwaah clashed during the Robins' highly-charged game against the Lions on Saturday, in which Jonathan Douglas and Andy Frampton were both sent off, but the right-back denies any wrongdoing.
Millwall striker Harris, who underwent surgery for testicular cancer in 2001, appeared to take offence to something said in the aftermath of Frampton's rash challenge on Jon-Paul McGovern in the 1-1 draw.
"It was normal verbals going on between me and Harris and nothing threatening or bad was said on either side," Amankwaah told the
Swindon Advertiser.
"He got a bit annoyed that I was telling Frampton to get up when he appeared to feign injury before he got sent off.
"That's what I thought but obviously he was injured and Harris was a bit upset that I was trying to pull him up.
"He came over to me and it was normal verbals - nothing bad at all."
Meanwhile, Frampton suffered ankle ligament damage after the challenge, and now faces around six weeks on the sidelines as well as a three-game ban.
