Skipper has no desire to try something different

MK Dons skipper Dean Lewington has admitted that he is hoping to be offered new terms by the club. The 25-year-old has spent his entire career to date with the Dons, having broken into the first-team set-up during their days as Wimbledon. He is set to be out of contract next summer but insists he is happy to stay and sees no reason why he would want to leave such an ambitious club. "I haven't thought about next year yet but my ideal situation would be to play in the Championship with the Dons," he said. "I have been here all my life so I don't see any reason to change now. "I had a bad start to the season with swine flu and then a head injury but I feel like the last couple of weeks I have been getting back to something like I should be and I feel better for it."
