Bristol Rovers have completed a loan swoop for Reading youngster Mikkel Andersen.

The Denmark U21 international has joined the Pirates in a deal which is set to run until 1st January 2010.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper is yet to make his competitive bow for Reading, but has enjoyed a number of loan spells in recent years.

He has turned out for Torquay, Rushden & Diamonds, Brentford and Brighton during his time with the Royals.

Meanwhile, Rovers have further strengthened their keeping ranks by tying Rhys Evans down on a permanent contract.

The 27-year-old arrived at the Memorial Stadium on a short-team deal over the summer but has now penned a one-year contract.
