McCall happy with non-league signing

Bradford City have wrapped up the signing of Scott Neilson from Cambridge City after the winger impressed on trial. Neilson has signed a three-year deal at Valley Parade with the option of a further 12 months and has cost the Bantams an undisclosed fee. He has been training with Stuart McCall's side in recent weeks, having been on trial at Derby County and Norwich City earlier in the summer. McCall is happy with the deal for the 22-year-old and is confident Neilson can make an impact with the League Two club. "We're delighted to get Scott in here," McCall told the Telegraph & Argus. "He looks a lively prospect. "It's good we've got it all tied up and he'll be a good acquisition; he's a player who we hope can progress and get better. "I know he's been on trial at Norwich and at Derby and given a good account of himself on both occasions. "He's enjoyed the training sessions he's had here. Now we're looking forward to seeing him in more action."
