Oldham striker Chris O'Grady has moved to North West neighbours Rochdale on a loan deal until January.
The powerful front man has struggled to capture his best form since moving to Boundary Park from Rotherham and is way down Dave Penney's list of options up front.
Pawel Abbott, Kiegan Parker and Darren Byfield are all currently ahead of him in the pecking order, while Thursday's loan capture of Blackburn striker Nick Blackman has pushed him even further out of the picture.
"It has been a tough time for me because no player wants to sit watching matches on a Saturday, you want to be involved," he told Rochdale's official website.
"I believe this is a move that will give me the opportunity to do just that and I am looking forward to it."
Last season O'Grady had loan stints at Bury, Bradford and Stockport.
