Aldershot boss Gary Waddock has moved to strengthen his defence by signing trialist duo John Halls and Adam Hinshelwood.
Much-travelled full-back Halls was released by Brentford at the end of last season and has signed a two-year deal with the Shots.
Centre-half Hinshelwood came through the ranks at Brighton but was deemed surplus to requirements by boss Russell Slade and has signed a one-year deal.
Waddock said: "They are both experienced players and we have a young squad, so they are good signings for us.
"I'm really pleased to have got them both, we've now made four signings and I would like one more in but the budget will dictate that."
