Hartlepool's Richie Jones is set to leave the club after he submitted a transfer request, skysports.com understands.
The 22-year-old former Manchester United starlet signed for Hartlepool last summer when they beat a host of clubs to his signature.
Jones played some 36 games for the Teesside club, and they took up a one-year option on him earlier this summer.
But Jones now feels his future lies elsewhere and is he is already attracting interest from other clubs.
And despite taking up the option on Jones, it is believed Hartlepool could be ready to let him leave on a free transfer.
It is understood a Scottish Premier League side are keen on Jones, whilst clubs from both the Championship and League One are also thought to be keeping tabs on his situation.
