Lewis Price is keen to establish himself as Brentford's No.1 following his season-long loan move from Derby.

The Wales international goalkeeper was unable to secure regular action with the Rams and has agreed to step down a division to join the Bees.

Price has been impressed with manager Andy Scott's approach in training and is relishing the start of the new season against Carlisle on 8th August.

"I wanted to come and play football, I have had two years playing bit parts," Price told the Bees' official website.

"I wanted to come somewhere I was wanted and try to help a team progress.

"The gaffer Andy Scott is brilliant and I can see what he is doing is exciting. The lads are looking forward to getting started."
