Oldham are lining up a move for Huddersfield ace Keigan Parker, skysports.com understands.
Parker is expected to leave the Galpharm Stadium after falling out of favour under Lee Clark.
The Scottish forward spent the back end of last season on loan at Hartlepool and Huddersfield are willing to let him move on as he does not figure in Clark's plans this season.
A number of clubs are believed to have expressed an interest in the former Blackpool man, but Oldham are thought to be leading the chase for the 27-year-old.
Latics boss Dave Penney is understood to be an admirer of Parker and sees the skilful attacker as a key addition to his squad.
