League One newcomers sign Golbourne and Corr

Exeter City have made their first signings of the summer after a double swoop for Scott Golbourne and Barry Corr. Golbourne joins from Reading but featured just six times for the Royals since signing for the club in January 2006. The 21-year-old has had loan spells with Wycombe and Bournemouth before a short stint with Oldham towards the end of last season. The defender has represented England at Under 17, U18 and U19 level and comes having played one Premier League game for Reading during their time in the top flight. Meanwhile Corr arrives from Swindon and is keen to get back playing football on a consistent basis after injury restricted him to just 14 appearances last term. The striker began his career at Sheffield Wednesday before loan spells with Bristol City and Swindon helped seal a permanent switch to the Robins in June 2007. Meanwhile Wales international Richard Duffy is on trial with the Grecians following his release from Millwall in May.
