Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Simpson is confident Ben Davies and Kelvin Langmead will remain at the ProStar Stadium.
The duo are out of contract this summer and are attracting interest from other clubs after impressing during the Shrews' run to the League Two play-off final.
A late header from Gillingham striker Simeon Jackson denied Shrewsbury promotion at Wembley in an otherwise successful campaign.
Davies and Langmead were instrumental in the side's form which prompted interest from a number of League One outfits, but Simpson admits he knows nothing of any other offers.
"I don't know of any definite League One interest in either of the players in question and I believe there has been a lot of talk and hype around the situation," he told skysports.com.
"The fact that both players are still talking to us about signing on for next season tells me that they obviously haven't received any better offers.
"I'm confident that they will be here mainly because they are still talking to us, but nothing is certain until they sign new deals here."
Meanwhile, fellow key performers Chris Humphrey, Grant Holt and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff have been on the treatment table this summer after operations.
However, Simpson maintains the trio will be ready for the season opener against Football League debutants Burton Albion.
"We've got three players who have had operations this summer and I expect them all to be fit and ready for the opening day of the season," added Simpson.
"Shane has started jogging already and will return to pre-season training with the rest of the boys.
"Chris Humphrey will also be starting on 1st July with the rest of us, but Grant Holt might have to take another week off to allow his ankle to recover."
