Millwall are weighing up a move for Oldham star Neal Eardley, skysports.com understands.
Eardley has established himself as a key member of the Oldham side since breaking into the first-team in 2006.
The 20-year-old has made over 100 appearances for the Latics and is now a regular in the Wales set-up.
Eardley has attracted the interest of a number of clubs in the past, but he has remained at Boundary Park.
Millwall have now joined Eardley's list of admirers and Lions boss Kenny Jackett believes the player's versatility, in that he can play in defence and midfield, would make him a key addition to the squad.
New Oldham chief Dave Penney would be loath to lose Eardley, but they may find it difficult to resist any substantial bids for his services.
