Hereford United have signed Ryan Valentine on a one-year contract from Darlington.
The Welsh defender has moved to Edgar Street on a free transfer following the financial problems at Darlington.
Valentine was in his second spell with the Quakers, but has now been added to John Trewick's squad for next season.
"He's a full-back and can operate at both left-back and right-back," Trewick told the club's official website.
"I am very happy to have signed him."
Trewick has already brought in defender Keith Lowe from Kidderminster Harriers and has been chasing Ryan Green, who has been released by Bristol Rovers.
