Huddersfield Town boss Lee Clark is waiting to see if Kilmarnock make a bid for Keigan Parker.
The striker has been tipped to leave Huddersfield in the summer after finishing the season on loan at Hartlepool United.
The former St Johnstone youngster has been linked with a return to Scotland, with Kilmarnock rumoured to be preparing an offer.
Clark is yet to hear from the SPL club, but believes there may be some movement in the coming weeks.
He told the Huddersfield Examiner: "I've heard suggestions that Kilmarnock want to have a look at Keigan.
"There has been no contact from them as yet, but with their season still ongoing, they could be waiting to see what their situation will be."
Several of the Terriers' League One rivals are understood to have been keeping tabs on Parker, along with Charlton Athletic, who have been relegated from the Championship.
