Hibernian are weighing up a move for Crewe midfielder Michael O'Connor.
The Northern Ireland international linked up with Hibs this week for training after being invited up to Scotland by Edinburgh outfit.
O'Connor's future at Crewe looks uncertain with the midfielder having recently spent a spell out on loan at Lincoln after falling out with Alex boss Gudjon Thordarson.
The 21-year-old has just one-year left on his contract at Gresty Road and Crewe are thought to be willing to listen to offers for O'Connor.
Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen will keep tabs on O'Connor as he considers launching a summer bid to bring the player to Easter Road.
"He's been with us but that's a weekly thing as we keep looking and he's just one of several we've seen," Paatelainen told the Edinburgh Evening News.
"We'll make a decision when it's the right time to do so."
