Crewe skipper to leave at the end of the season
Crewe captain Julien Baudet has finally ended speculation over his future by signing a two-year contract with Colorado Rapids.
Skysports.com revealed in March that the MLS side were tracking the defender, and he has now put pen-to-paper.
Baudet, 30, is out of contract in the summer and has decided a move abroad will provide a new challenge at this stage of his career.
Alex manager Gudjon Thordarson was keen to hold onto his skipper, but Baudet told the League One club's official website the offer was, "too good to refuse".
