Hartlepool sign Parker and Skarz on loan from Terriers

Hartlepool have extended the loan of Keigan Parker, while also adding Joe Skarz to their squad until the end of the season. Parker joined the club at the beginning of March and was initially set to return to Huddersfield after the weekend's game at Southend but he has now agreed a new deal with the club. The striker has made five appearances for Pools so far without finding the net but the club need as many options as possible as they look to edge away from the relegation zone. Meanwhile Skarz, also on loan from the Terriers, impressed Pools director of sport Chris Turner in a reserve clash last week and signed on almost immediately. The 19-year-old began the season in fine form for Huddersfield but has failed to win back his place from Robbie Williams after suffering an injury 11 games in. Both players will want to halt the club's recent slide down the table, they have lost four successive league games, with Pool just four points from the drop zone.
