Lincoln have signed Crewe midfielder Michael O'Connor on a month-long loan deal.
Crewe confirmed earlier this week that they had made O'Connor available for loan as he did not figure in the plans of manager Gudjon Thordarson.
He has now linked up with Lincoln and will stay at Sincil Bank until after their match with Accrington on 4th April.
O'Connor will play alongside Crewe club-mate Anthony Elding at Lincoln, after he joined the League Two club on loan in January.
Lincoln boss Peter Jackson is delighted to have secured the services of O'Connor, who had been targeted by a number of other sides.
"With the departure of Lee Frecklington it meant we were a bit short of numbers in midfield so I'm pleased that we've brought Michael to the club," Jackson told Lincoln's official website.
"He's been captain of Crewe this season, he's played a lot of games and has international experience under his belt so his arrival is something of a coup for us.
"A lot of clubs in higher divisions were interested in him so I'm delighted that he's joined us and credit must go to Anthony Elding who played a major part in us being able to bring Michael to Sincil Bank."
