Milton Keynes Dons midfielder Peter Leven has ended speculation over his future by signing a new deal at the club.
Leven's existing deal was due to expire in the summer with a number of clubs waiting in the wings to sign him.
However, high-flying MK Dons have managed to tie down the Scot to a new two-year deal to keep him at the League One outfit until 2011.
"I'm over the moon to be staying here, the negotiations have been going on for a few weeks, but I always wanted to sign for Milton Keynes. It's great to know I'll be here for another two-and-a-half years.
"There's only one direction this club is going and that's up, and I'm delighted that the gaffer, Eddie Newton and the chairman want me to be part of its future.
"Milton Keynes is a great place to be at the moment and I'm happy to be settling down now, with my contract sorted, and concentrating on playing football."
