Greenacre out for up to eight weeks with foot knock

Tranmere will be without Chris Greenacre for up to two months as the striker is sidelined with a foot injury. Greenacre has been unavailable since before the Christmas period and may not now return until March. Scans have confirmed the player has dislocated a bone and ruptured a tendon in his foot. "Greeny has done a tendon in his foot, so he will be in a cast for four weeks and it will be six or eight weeks before he is back and able to play," Rovers boss Ronnie Moore told the club's official website. "Terry Gornell picked up concussion at Hereford and couldn't play against Walsall but he is okay now."
