Stockport County have snapped up Craig Davies on loan from League One rivals Oldham Athletic.
Davies was the Latics' top scorer last season, but has struggled for regular first-team action in John Sheridan's side this term.
The Wales international has failed to score in 10 appearances and has seen his opportunities hindered by the recent signing of Brett Ormerod.
Sheridan has now allowed the former Verona striker, who signed a one-year contract extension in August, to link up with Stockport on loan until 3rd January.
Davies could make his debut for the Hatters on Saturday when Jim Gannon's side entertain out-of-form Carlisle United.
