Jackett to bring in Easter and Noel-Williams

Millwall are poised to compensate for the absence of injured duo Neil Harris and Tresor Kandol by bringing in Jermaine Easter and Gifton Noel-Williams. Lions boss Kenny Jackett is eager to keep his side's bright start to the season on track and not be hampered by a paucity of attacking options. Plymouth striker Easter is expected to join the League One club on an emergency loan ahead of Sunday's trip to Swindon. An impressive strike rate in the lower leagues of 59 goals from 135 appearances saw Plymouth offer him an opportunity in the Championship, but he has struggled for a regular starting berth at Home Park. Noel-Williams is best known for a spell at Watford before a move to Spain and sojourns at Real Murcia and Elche CF. The 28-year-old is keen for a move back to England and, having trained with Millwall, has done enough to earn a short-term deal at The Den.
