Clubs make enquiries about Northern Ireland international

Burnley winger Steve Jones is set to leave the Clarets on a month's loan to get some match fitness under his belt. The 31-year-old Northern Ireland international has been unable to command a first-team place after last playing for the Championship outfit back in January. He ended last season on loan at former club Crewe and is set to leave Turf Moor again to get some first-team football. Burnley boss Owen Coyle told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I had a chat with Jonesy and said that, given the level he's played and experience he's had, I wouldn't be averse to him going out for a month to get match fitness. "We'll wait and see what comes of that. There's been a couple of clubs enquired, and we'll take things from there."
