Swindon Town have completed the signing of winger Mark Marshall from Eastleigh.
Marshall has been on trial with the Robins this summer and impressed manager Maurice Malpas in the friendly with Portsmouth.
Malpas acted quickly to capture Marshall on a two-year contract and he is delighted to have completed the deal.
"We are pleased to have him on board," Malpas told Swindon's official website. "It was one of the easier deals we have done.
"He will come here, learn his trade and hopefully we can improve him.
"He has pace, which is a tremendous asset and it will certainly give us an option.
"There is work to do with Mark so he won't go straight into the side. We need to spend time with him out on the training ground and improve his game."
Malpas has also revealed that he is looking to move players on before bringing further new faces to the County Ground, possibly on loan.
"It's something we will look at," added Malpas when asked if he was looking to sign additional fresh faces.
"We would like to look at the loan market and we have options there, but now is the time to look at moving one or two on who may not be involved in the first-team picture."
