Marc Richards sees no reason to leave Port Vale, despite being wanted by Cheltenham Town.
The striker is a target for three clubs, with Vale claiming League One side Cheltenham have made an offer.
Vale will be playing League Two football this season following their relegation, but Richards is happy to stay with Lee Sinnott's side.
"Obviously I'm flattered by the interest from Cheltenham, especially with them being in League One," Richards told the Sentinel.
"But as it stands, I'm a Port Vale player and can see no reason why I would want to leave at the moment.
"I've had a conversation with the manager and the chairman and they've both said they want me to stay.
"I've only got one year left on my current deal, but I'm settled in the area and I want to stay in the Midlands."
