Hearts have granted permission for Scotland Under-21 international Calum Elliot to hold transfer talks with MK Dons.
Elliot is keen to depart Tynecastle this close season after coming under fire from some Hearts fans.
Whether the 21-year-old agrees terms with The Dons remains to be seen with a number of clubs tracking his services.
"We are aware of interest from a number of clubs and MK Dons is one of them," a spokesman told Hearts' official website.
"As a Scotland U21 international, Calum will be a valuable addition to another club and we will do what we can to create opportunities for him to develop his career."
