Pirate Rickie Lambert has revealed he has no intention of jumping ship.
The Bristol Rovers striker top scored for the League One outfit last term, finding the net on 19 occasions.
These goal-scoring exploits, coupled with the fact he only has one year remaining on his current deal at the Memorial Stadium, could make him an attractive prospect to other clubs.
But the 26-year-old, who joined Rovers from Rochdale in a £200,000 deal in August 2006, insists he wants to stay with his current side.
He told BBC Radio Bristol: "We are still in negotiations and I have told them I want to be here.
"There's no rush as I am going to be here this season, and at the moment I want to concentrate on getting fitter."
