Micky Adams has confirmed his interest in bringing Luton Town midfielder Darren Currie back to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Currie spent the first half of the 2004/05 season at Brighton and is being offered a return to the Withdean Stadium.
The skilful left-sider joined Luton last summer, but has one year left on his contract with the financially-troubled League Two side.
Brighton boss Adams hopes to agree a deal for the 33-year-old, but concedes the matter is complicated due to Currie's situation at Luton.
"I believe there is a story about Darren Currie," Adams told the club's official website.
"It's well known that we're interested in him, but until he ties up a few loose ends at Luton there won't be anything in it."
