Midfielder ends injury-hit spell with Swansea

Swansea City midfielder Darren Way has completed a move back to Yeovil Town in a deal worth up to £50,000. Way originally left Yeovil for Swansea in January 2006, but struggled with injuries during his time at the Liberty Stadium. He returned to Yeovil on loan last season and has now signed a two-year contract with the League One club. "I really enjoyed my time back at Yeovil on loan and Russell Slade convinced me I had a part to play at Yeovil," Way told the club's official website. "Swansea didn't quite work out for me the way I hoped it would, but I have gained a lot of experience from my time at Swansea and hope to use that experience through the rest of my career. "I'd like to thank all the staff at Swansea for everything they have done for me and I wish them all the best for the coming season. "It's been a pleasure to work with Roberto Martinez and his assistant Graham Jones and with their experience and knowledge I expect them to go on to bigger and better things."
