Danny Schofield has expressed his delight at joining Yeovil Town after nine years with Huddersfield Town.
The 28-year-old, who joined The Glovers on a free transfer this summer, signed for The Terriers aged 18.
Schofield is relishing the challenge of impressing his new employers by finding the back of the net consistently this coming season.
Time for a change
"It was time for a change and I got a great opportunity to come and play for Yeovil Town," he told the club's official website.
"The chance came up at that stage in my career where travelling and moving around was more suitable for me. When you are younger I don't think you want to really move about, but at 28 it's a great opportunity and a great challenge.
"My strengths are more attacking than being defensive so I'm hoping to score a few goals myself and create opportunities for the team.
"The main aim is to get my head down in pre-season, get as fit as possible, impress in the friendlies and get in the first team for the opening game against Walsall."
