Midfielder agrees two-year contract at Deva Stadium

Chester have completed the signing of Anthony Barry on a two-year deal from Yeovil. The midfielder becomes Chester's first signing of the summer as manager Simon Davies makes plans for next season's League Two campaign. Barry made 25 appearances for League One outfit Yeovil last term, but has opted for a move to the Deva Stadium. The 22-year-old, who began his career as a schoolboy at Liverpool, has also had spells with Everton, Coventry and Accrington Stanley. Davies will hope Barry can help Chester improve on last season's disappointing performance as the club narrowly avoided relegation from the Football League.
