Swansea City have completed the permanent signing of Ashley Williams in a deal which could eventually cost a club record £400,000.
Williams originally moved to the Liberty Stadium on loan from Stockport County on transfer deadline day in March.
He started three games for Roberto Martinez's side as Swansea clinched promotion to the Championship, finishing the season as League One champions.
The Wales international has now signed a two-year contract with the club, with the option of a third year depending on appearances.
The deal could eventually cost £400,000, eclipsing the figure paid to Liverpool for Colin Irwin in 1981.
